The Mega Mondo Pop Cartoon-a-Con in sunny California marks the spot for mystery in this all-new original Scooby-Doo adventure! Herculoids Frankenstein Jr. and Space Ghost are just a few of the celebrated comic book characters headlining at the unconventional convention plus there's a megabucks movie premiere starring Scooby-Doo and Shaggy's all-time favorite super heroes Blue Falcon and Dynomutt! Despite never reading comic books, I have such an affinity for comic book animation. Mask of the Blue Falcon was Dynomutt`s first MOVIE crossover with Scooby, and this story was such a cool way to do it.

There were some blips, like Velma`s out-of-character mean-heartedness towards the others and Daphne`s real lack of screen-time, but I think the other parts of the movie outweigh them so I`m going to rank it pretty high. It borrows liberally from Spider-man ('94 series that is) which might be why I liked it so much, but on its own I think it did a clever job at layering everyone`s stories together

All these scooby movies are lacking daphne time. She needs some serious character beats in her life. Almost all the characters have had a film or a few films to have them as the focal point but daphne only really has Zombie Island as her story.
This was better than the entire MCU and I'm not joking you guys. Russo Brothers what? Who?

Mask of the Blue Falcon centers around Scooby for the most part. Which is pretty refreshing. It's nice to see even the talking dog the franchise is named after can have some genuine moments of growth. A pretty standard superhero affair, in which Scooby learns the valuable lesson that anyone can be a hero. I pretty much always enjoy stories centered around that premise.

Before this film I wasn't even aware of the original Dynomutt series, and I really enjoy the fact that some of these Scooby-Doo movies have been used to educate younger audiences to franchises of the past. It seems like an extremely goofy show that I will most definitely enjoy when…
Scooby Doo has been one of Hanna-Barbera's go-to major success stories insofar as their properties and franchises go; since its debut during the 1960s, the series has spawned numerous spin-off series and big budget & direct- to- DVD feature-length movies in both animated and live-action form with some of them where Mystery Incorporated team up with a well-known celebrity or another Hanna-Barbera character to help unravel and solve the case. In addition to capturing and unmasking the evil doers and foiling their ghastly plans as well.

Going into this film, I knew that I would like it, but never enjoy it fully: I'm not really into Scooby Doo a great deal, though I did enjoy the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo.…

This takes place at a comic book convention and goes a little off-formula, with the main focus being Shaggy and Scooby's obsession with the Blue Falcon. One of the major players in this is the actor who played the first Falcon who's since transitioned into a bitter old man with a dwindling number of fans. It was a fun setting to use and I liked all the cute throwbacks to Hanna-Barbera's other characters, including Blue Falcon and Dynomutt.

The enjoyment was soured a lot though by Velma's randomly negative attitude towards her friends for having an interest in comics, or collectibles in Daphne's case. Considering Shaggy and Scooby don't exactly do mysteries for fun but because their friends…
The Lillard-era DTV Scooby movies are really good, but this is one of the weaker outings. But the tons of in-jokes (Hanna-Barbera really produced many superhero cartoons, didn't they?) made it fun. Also the mystery was really nice. The culprit was pretty easy to guess, but I appreciate the last act twists, that made me doubt my theory for a few minutes.

I didn't expect to like this movie, I wasn't a fan of the Blue Falcon episode of Mystery Incorporated and wrongly assumed the movie would focus around the Blue Falcon himself.

Instead, this turned out to be one of the most fun and interesting Scooby-Doo movies I've seen, it held my attention well and there was a lot of heart in it.

Shaggy's speech to Scooby where he said he had 'the heart of the dog wonder' was really heartwarming and a nice change from the previous full movie in which Shaggy was really unfair to Scooby and took credit for his talent.

I enjoyed seeing Daphne get so excited over Littlest Fuzzies, it was nice that the movie added…

Very strong SD movie. Lots of references for comic book fans and It felt like It really mirrored the real Adam West/Batman/Dark Knight trouble.

One big problem though was Velma, she was kind of out character at times. Apart from that It's got a real strong cast besides the usual gang.
Dee Bradley Baker, Diedrich Bader, Jeff Bennett, Tara Strong, Billy West and John DiMaggio as the stand out names.
